Cassandra "Cassie" Davenport is a fifth generation werewolf hunter from Newark, New Jersey and is the mother of Gabriel Davenport. She is a very dedicated and efficient hunter. Although, after the massacre of her family, she remains largely distanced from the kids, including her son.
Pre - Season One Edit
Cassie was raised on the road hunting down werewolves for her entire life. She was seventeen when she met Gabe's father and had Gabe young. Her and her family raised Gabe to be a hunter, and despite the dangers involved with hunting, the family were relatively happy.
In 2001, Cassie's extended family were massacred in a werewolf attack during their Christmas celebration. Only Cassie and her son survived, and a few days later they met Petra Snider, Malcolm Hawkes, Tony Espinoza and their children. Cassie, wanting Gabe to be safer than she could provide alone, agreed to join them on Petra's RV.
Season One Edit
Cassie appeared in the "Unaired Pilot" with the rest of the parents on the case in Sandersville, Georgia. Cassie spent the majority of the episode keeping an eye on Brandon and Ollie and helped fend off the Rakshasa attacks. She later assisted in burning down the hotel.
During "Parental Supervision Required", Cassie was with Petra and Mal, working to destroy a vampire nest a few hours away from Cairo, West Virginia.
Season Two Edit
Physical Appearance Edit
Cassie is a tall woman with an athletic build, short blonde hair and blue eyes. She dresses in typical hunting attire - clothing that is durable and comfortable and is rarely seen with her silver hunting knife and .454 Casull.
Cassie is the quietest of the parents, rarely speaking unless it's necessary and comes off as quite shy. She is solemn and business-like. She despises werewolves with a passion for what they've done to her family.
Cassie's relationship with her son is unusually distant. There is no animosity between the two, despite Cassie's wishes that Gabe would accept his life as a hunter and learn to make the best of it.
